REACH Regulation

Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), establishing a European Chemicals Agency, amending Directive 1999/45/EC and repealing Council Regulation (EEC) No 793/93 and Commission Regulation (EC) No 1488/94 as well as Council Directive 76/769/EEC and Commission Directives 91/155/EEC, 93/67/EEC, 93/105/EC and 2000/21/EC.
With the REACH Regulation, the EU has created a single system for registration, evaluation and authorisation of chemicals. The aim of this regulation is to ensure the protection of human health and the environment. It entered into force on 1 June 2007.

HELUKABEL GmbH produces and trades in products that are products in the sense of chemicals legislation. We are therefore subject to the information obligations in accordance with Article 33 of the REACH Regulation if a product supplied by us contains an SVHC substance in a concentration of more than 0.1 mass per cent. In accordance with the REACH regulation, HELUKABEL GmbH is considered a downstream user and is therefore not subject to the registration obligation.

The list of substances of very high concern (SVHC) is usually updated once or twice a year and published on the website of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). We are in constant dialogue and exchange of information with our suppliers.
